Review
We went to Perfect Blend for the first time last month to have breakfast. We liked it so much we returned just three weeks later to try lunch!
Perfect Blend is quite large and has lots of tables. But both times we’ve visited there were only a few tables free! It’s clearly a popular place to eat at the weekend. If you plan to eat as a large group its best to book a table (phone number above).
The restaurant is tastefully decorated but does seem dated when you compare it to places like Batch & Co up the road.
In the evening the bar opens up and the atmosphere changes. They stock a wide selection of craft beers, wines and spirits:
Our first visit to Perfect Blend was for breakfast. To drink I had a hot chocolate.
To eat I had the Triple Eggs (Eggs Benedict, Florentine and Royale)
Eggs Benedict is a toasted muffin with ham, a poached egg and hollandaise sauce on top. Eggs Florentine is the same but with spinach instead of ham. Eggs Royale has smoked salmon instead of ham. Simple but delicious. The eggs were poached to perfection.
As usual Pip had an Americano.
To eat she had the Veggie Breakfast.
Another simple dish but still really nice.
Our second visit was for lunch. I had the chicken burger and chips. It was huge and barely fitted inside the bun.
Pip had the Omelette and Salad. It wasn’t presented particularly well but the taste made up for it. Cooked just right!
Expect to pay about £10-£15 for a meal and a drink.
Overall
Perfect Blend is a great place to eat or grab a coffee in Streatham. The food is a bit basic and the presentation does seem rushed. But it tastes good and the portions are massive. You won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure!
